You guessed it! This class is all work and no horseplay!
Actually, this week we will be joined by some very special guests, Oreo and Romeo and their “Momma”, Stacy Rideout. Children will learn about the roles horses have played in small scale agriculture and food crop production, from pulling wagons to plows. Then, children will get a more hands on experience as Stacy Rideout teaches them the basics of leading, brushing, and tacking. Using her expert horsemanship skills, Stacy will provide class participants will tips, tricks, and of course, the opportunity for some horse kisses. Bring your questions as well as your cowboy hats – because the class will end with each child getting the opportunity to ride.
