It's not your imagination, plants do bend toward the sun. This is called phototropism and was first observed and explained by scientist Charles Darwin. To further explore the capabilities of plants to follow the sun, children will spend the afternoon designing and setting up several experiment stations that will demonstrate the power of phototropism, and the amazing powers of plants.
