Children and parents, young or young at heart, are invited to join us for Dundee Gardens’ September Story Hour Series.  New stories will be read each week, as children sit, color, and form friendships.  Children will fall in love with the delightful and inspiring characters found in the pages of books as they utilize their imaginations.  During each story hour, children will be joined by Ptolemy Tortoise and Thumbelina Tortoise – two very slow moving and gentle reptiles who enjoy story hour just as much as children do!  Tortoises are a wonderful introductory animal for children, and offer quiet and calm companionship (aside from the sound of crunching kale leaves) while stories are read.

Children of all ages are welcome, and parents may utilize this time to meander through our lifestyle store and gorgeous garden center and nursery.
